Hurricane Relief!
Hurricane Irma brought complete devastation to the lives of thousands in the Caribbean and now, Hurricane José is poised to ravage some of the same island nations which experienced such catastrophic destruction only a few days ago.

As members of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bridgetown, let us offer our deepest sympathies to the community of our sisters and brothers who are suffering greatly.  Let us pray especially that in spite of their distress, they will feel the comforting and loving presence of God who is always merciful.

How we as a Diocese can help?

Firstly, let us show our love and compassion to our brothers and sisters by offering prayers to the Almighty.  Secondly, let us all offer whatever we can financially as a means through which to ease their suffering during this time of need.

Beginning this Sunday September 10th and ending on Sunday September 24th, 2017, I am requesting that a second collection be taken at all masses. Additionally, over the next three weeks, the Roman Catholic Diocese will be accepting donations of tinned or packaged food items, baby formula, pampers, toiletries, water and medical supplies ONLY.  Your donations can be dropped off at your parishes or at the Living Water Community, St. David’s Christ Church, Monday to Friday between 9:00 am to 2:00 p.m. and on weekends by special arrangement.

Let us be part of God’s work and to restore hope to our brothers and sisters in Christ.
With gratitude

+Bishop Jason
